We received an excellent welcome as well as very good advice for our Ford motorhome from 1994 which had some old age problems. A big thank you to the whole team! We recommend. From French travelers.

Had an issue with AC motorhome chassis. Contacted Sound Truck and Auto Repair. They were able to diagnose and fix problem at the price they quoted me. The repair was done to my satisfaction and the AC is working perfect. Dick the owner and staff were very professional and I appreciate so much. Thank you again. Rich Rodgers Oak Harbor WA

I have a 1996 JDM Isuzu Elf camper imported directly from Japan and it needed the cylinder head replaced. It took me MONTHS to track down a competent mechanic to take on the projectβ¦ I would estimate that I called 25 places. Out of those, many said they would consider the project but it would take days and days to get back to meβ¦ βwe will talk about it and let you knowβ only to not hear back. I knew what needed to be done for this project and I bought all the parts, and Dick at Sound Truck and Auto listened respectfully to me over the phone and agreed to the job. He never spoke down to me despite my using laymanβs terms in many cases :) Their shop rate was extremely competitive and they finished the job and my camper runs just perfectly, and without any fluid leaks. I will take all my vehicles to STAR now. Hands down, the best place in the county.

At first I thought they were good. But after they attempted to repair my 2013 Duramax three times and never gave me estimates after repeated requests and never gave me a copy of any paperwork I signed . Both are breaking consumer protection laws. Dustin texted me that "you are just mad at us because I have a old truck and it needs lots of repairs" The truck has 80,000 miles and is in good shape. Dustin also admitted that they don't have a Duramax expert. They just bumble the way and install parts not necessary without quotes. If you do business with them don't leave without a firm quote. Summary: I don't trust them and I will not do any business with them. PS one of their technique is to say "I don't know what it will cost until I hook it up to the computer." If you get that statement from them turn around and walk away. Truly factual Craig Henderson PS PS and they never fixed the problem. I then took my truck to rugged diesel and they fixed it on the first visit!
